Overview
The high-performance rod “Sefia TT” emphasizes the ability to control the most important technique in egging, “jerk,” with a light and automatic feel. The entire rod is designed to bend flexibly, so you can easily jerk it by simply moving your wrist. It also makes it easy to grasp the timing of jerks and casts, achieving automatic performance. The blanks use Shimano’s unique basic structure [Spiral X], which achieves lightweight while maintaining sufficient strength. In addition, the rigidity against twisting and crushing is also increased, suppressing the shaking and dullness that are common in flexible rods. The reel seat uses carbon reinforced material [CI4+], contributing to further weight reduction and high sensitivity.

Shimano Technology Features:
CI4+ reel seat
Shimano’s proprietary material [CI4+] is reinforced with carbon fiber. It is characterized by being lighter and having a higher specific strength compared to conventional resins. By using this material for the reel seat of the rod, it contributes to weight reduction and also improves the sensitivity and operability of the rod.
