- The rod incorporates a parabolic blank that is vitally important in any quality squid rod. Firstly, the parabolic design allows the blank to fully load up with the recommended jig or lure sizes/weights which greatly assists long casting performance. Secondly, this parabolic design also assists in getting more secure hook-ups and greatly helps absorb the lunges of the biggest and most aggressive squid without ripping the jig out or losing connection.
- The rod also incorporates Fuji K Sic guides – The style, sizing and arrangement of guides is specifically designed to handle PE line of a broad range with maximum strength, longevity and casting performance.
- The hook keeper– Secure your squid jig to the rod and prevent accidental damage to rod blank, guides and/or spinning reel.
- Soft grip foam handle – Designed with the end user in mind, the grips are both soft and comfortable to use, particularly over long egging sessions. Importantly, they provide a great texture to ensure firm grip and control in all conditions.
