Overview
BREAK YOUR RECORD
The all-new Saltiga LD80 represents the pinnacle of DAIWA's lever drag reel development. After more than six years of engineering, testing and refinement, the LD80-2SPD has been purpose-built for anglers targeting the world's largest and most powerful offshore Gamefish. From giant tuna to marlin and other heavyweight pelagics, LD80 delivers the strength, reliability and performance demanded when every battle counts.
Machined from a single block of aluminium, the one-piece frame provides exceptional rigidity to keep the drivetrain perfectly aligned under extreme drag pressures. Inside, oversized stainless-steel gearing maximises cranking power and durability, while the smooth ATD Carbon Drag delivers up to 59.5lb of consistent drag performance. Combined with a high-capacity spool capable of holding 700 yards of 120lb braid, the Saltiga LD80-2SPD is built to perform when chasing true bluewater giants.
Designed without compromise, the Saltiga LD80-2SPD sets a new benchmark for offshore lever drag reels, giving serious anglers the confidence to take on the biggest fish in the ocean.
