DAIWA
EMERALDAS MX
Overview
Refinement, innovation and performance define the Emeraldas family, and the new EMERALDAS MX elevates the series to deliver an even more refined eging experience for dedicated squid anglers. Purposebuilt for modern squid fishing techniques, EMERALDAS MX combines premium Daiwa technologies with lightweight design to provide exceptional casting performance, sensitivity and lure control.
Constructed from an advanced HVF Nanoplus graphite blank, the EMERALDAS MX delivers a crisp, responsive action with an outstanding power-to-weight ratio. Daiwa’s X45 blank construction minimises twist during casting and lure manipulation, while V-JOINT technology creates a seamless ferrule that maintains the smooth action, strength and sensitivity of a one-piece rod. The result is greater casting accuracy, enhanced jig control and improved bite detection throughout every retrieve.
The EMERALDAS MX’s premium componentry is equally performance-driven, featuring Daiwa’s lightweight AIR SENSOR reel seat for a direct connection between angler and blank, while an integrated carbon butt further enhances balance and reduces overall weight for effortless all-day fishing. Premium Fuji guides complete the package, delivering smooth line flow, outstanding corrosion resistance and longterm reliability in harsh saltwater environments.
Designed specifically for Australian squid anglers, the EMERALDAS MX offers the refinement, responsiveness and confidence needed to fish today’s egi with absolute precision, whether casting from the shore, rock walls or boat.
