Mussel Mania came from a lot of time on the water trying to get it right. We went through a heap of versions to sort the balance. Something that falls naturally on the drop, then gives a tight vibration on the lift without overdoing it. You can fish it slow when you need to, but it still has enough presence to get noticed. The colour took just as much work. Different finishes, different light, different water. A lot of trial and error to land on something that stands out just enough without looking off. Through-wire construction and a mussel-inspired shape mean it can handle structure and keep fishing session after session. It’s the one you reach for when things aren’t coming easy.

MUSSEL MANIA OVERVIEW

Mussel Mania is a compact hard-body lure inspired by the Australian black mussel, built with a natural shell-like profile and a tight pulsing action. Its flat top helps create subtle vibration on the lift, while the body is tuned to sink with a controlled, natural flutter rather than a wide spiral. An internal rattle adds extra presence in low light or dirty water, and stainless through-wire construction provides strength where it counts.

Each lure is hand-finished, so slight variations in colour and finish may occur.
