OVERVIEW

The Gyoshi Raba is an industry first micro Tairaba (Red Sea Bream Rubber) style lure from Rudies Japan.  Being a Tiaraba, it is an octopus/squid imitation lure specifically designed for bottom and mid-water level game such as red sea bream (tai), snapper, trevally, black/yellowfin bream and many other predatory species. 

How do I use it?

This style of lure is very simple to use, cast it out and let it sink to the bottom and then start retrieving straight away.  While small lift and fall actions work well, it is best used with a straight retrieve and intermittent pauses ie. 25-30 full turns of the reel handle and pause - then repeat the process.  More importantly, when you feel taps or bites just keep winding in the lure, do not strike, let the lure do the work.
