SHIMANO’S SEPHIA CLINCH ‘EX-COUNTER’

A dedicated spring and late summer squid jig for large spawning squid, that’s what the new EXCounter is all about.

Large-sized egi (squid jigs) have an overwhelming appeal to large spawning squid in spring and early summer.  This particular squid jig is not only long but has breadth and depth to match, making this a more visible egi in the water column but a more tempting meal for these larger squid.  Despite its size, the EXCounter falls quite naturally and moves quite freely when worked through the water column…..emparting a darting actions is quite effortless.  Having said that, we highly recommend you go slow, use more suttle rod action and pause the lure as often as possible…..this method gets more big squid.

In addition, to some clever colours and patterns (ie. some well proven colours), this egi incorporates large and dense crowns.  12 lengthy, stainless steel prongs per crown set work incredibly well to get a hook up and to ensure a deep more sucure hook set in the squid.
