OVERVIEW

As its name “Wide Shooter” suggests, the length of 7 feet brings a long casting ability, enabling the angler to approach wide range of targets both from shore and on boat. The rod suits a diverse range of lures, from small minnows and crankbaits to topwaters and soft baits. Also, the length of the S0-70 is very beneficial when rod stroke action (both vertical action and side-ways action) is needed. Moreover the butt section is more powerful than S0-62, with plenty of power to turn a fishes head from cover.

The Wide Shooter has a fast taper and very responsive blank. This allows the angler to easily impart action to the lure and gives an outstanding level of feel through the rod. This rod is ideally suited to chasing bream, bass, estuary perch, sooty grunter, trout and many other light tackle targets in fresh and estuarine waters.
